Join us for a special evening celebrating music and conservation. Hosted in partnership with Evon J. Sams, this event marks the five-year anniversary of his EP, Mother Earth—a project inspired by the Conservatory and local conservation efforts. Evon will perform the EP in its entirety, surrounded by the lush, tropical setting that sparked its creation. Guests can also connect with local conservation organizations, enjoy food, and purchase drinks from a cash bar. NCG Members: $25

Evon J. Sams is a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and artist from Rockford, Illinois. Evon’s unique approach to music blends all the music he has experienced and studied, from European classical and concert band music to R&B, hip hop, and jazz. These influences help to create thoughtful, soulful music that permeates through his various instruments and compositional voice.
