This sunset stroll is a wonderful way to get involved with citizen science, and to learn more about the natural areas around you. We will go for a hike around different ecosystems in Atwood Park all while documenting plants and wildlife via iNaturalist to contribute to worldwide biodiversity research. Downloading the free iNaturalist app on your phone ahead of time is highly recommended!
City Nature Challenge is organized by California Academy of the Sciences and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The Rock River Valley team is organized by Severson Dells Nature Center.
