Exploring belonging through memory, place, people, culture, routines and emotional grounding. Looking at “home” as a feeling rather than just a location.
In a city both as diverse and hectic as London is, there are very few spaces and events where eveyrone is truly equal and the human experience is laid bare with the space and capacity to connect with ourselves and each other.
The power of this as a project is multi-faceted - to be able to use creativity as a tool for both expression and understanding, to use this expression and understanding to bring communities together, and all of this for the benefit of the local vulnerable communiities and those in most desperate need of support.
With the creative guidance and techniques of some of the most establishsed songwriters and artists with Evoke: Creative Wellness, the creative connection series is a 6 episode journey starting wtih introductions to creative expressions and through themes of home, identity and perspective to find a new found sense of connection - bringing together communities from every walk of life in the heart of the city.
