About this Event
We’re delighted to be bring our second event Everywhere We Meet in Reading, hosted at the gorgeous Angel Bar in Caversham — a leafy, characterful neighbourhood just moments from Reading train station and with easy access from the M4.
Angel Bar is a charming, intimate cocktail bar with a slightly quirky, art-deco feel. Stylish without being stuffy, it’s the perfect setting for relaxed conversation, easy introductions, and that unmistakable spark of a great date night venue.
With beautifully made cocktails, a welcoming atmosphere, and a cosy layout that encourages mingling, Angel Bar offers a warm and friendly backdrop for meeting new people in a space that feels special without trying too hard.
The format is simple and easy: you’ll be placed into small groups of 4–5 people, with around eight minutes to chat before we gently rotate the groups. This gives everyone the chance to meet each other naturally, without pressure or awkwardness.
Match cards and conversations prompt provided naturally.
Once the slow dating rounds are finished, the evening opens up — stay for a drink, stay for one of their delicious pizzas with new found friends, continue conversations with people that sparked your interest, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.
