In May 2021, a UK Home Office dawn raid triggers one of the most spontaneous and successful acts of civil resistance in recent memory. In Pollokshields, Scotland’s most diverse neighbourhood, hundreds of residents rush to the streets to stop the deportation of their neighbours.

Winner: Sundance World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Civil Resistance

This special screening with panel discussion and Q&A will launch the start of The Pyramid's Monday Night Film Club. We will have a dedicated bar area serving snacks, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, open before and after the screening, so please come along early to have a chat and see what other films we have coming up!

Tickets are priced on a sliding scale, and we want our screenings to be accessible. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch with [email protected] to request a free ticket. Please note that we have a limited number of free tickets allocated per screening.

Tickets can also be bought on-the-door by card or cash on the day, subject to availability.

Unreserved seating. If you have any access requirements, please contact so we can make arrangements. Our venue is fully accessible, and we can supply a free carer’s ticket.

Please be aware this film is rated 12A by the BBFC. Any children should be accompanied by an adult at all times during the screening.
