evening of solo cello, poetry, and dinner at number 22

Simone Seales, cellist, poet, and performance artist, will be curating an evening of poetry and music to gently guide people into the festival season.

August is notoriously full of people and various energies, and it can be easy to feel alone in the massive crowds. Simone will open with a sonic meditation by Pauline Oliveros, and follow with poetry, improvised music, and discussion focusing on rest, nourishment, and connection.

Included in the ticket price is a Grazing Box (big enough to be counted as dinner) from, expect a twist of Africa, nourishing salads and divinely aligned flavours that'll pair with the live cello and poetry experience.
