Join us for an inspiring evening exploring the powerful themes of memory and history in 'Whitfield Lovell: Passages.' Dinner will be provided, followed by an insightful talk with our Registrar for Exhibitions, enjoy a docent-led tour of Passages, and conclude the evening with two hands-on workshops, where educators will learn techniques to create their own lasting impressions. Gelli print techniques will be taught by NEISD Art Educator, former SAEA President, Jessica Cardenas and photo transfer techniques on wood will be taught by San Antonio artist Carlos J. Perez. This workshop offers educators an in-depth experience blending art history and technical skill, perfect for bringing fresh inspiration and lesson plans back to the classroom.Teachers receive three hours of continuing professional education credit. Space is limited and registration is required.
