The Bert C. Bach Written Word Initiative's 10th Annual Spring Literary Festival consists of two days filled with lectures, readings, and workshops which are open to both ETSU students and the public. No registration required. All daytime events will take place in The Reece Museum, and the Jack Higgs Memorial Reading ft. Ron Rash will take place in the Bud Frank Theater on Thursday (4/22) at 7 PM.
This year's visiting writers include Nickole Brown (poetry), Juan Martinez (fiction), Rose McLarney (nonfiction), and, finally, Ron Rash as its 12th Annual Jack Higgs Memorial Reading keynote speaker. The New Writing from ETSU reading will feature Dr. Scott Honeycutt, Dr. Kevin O'Donnell, and Dr. Ted Olson.
There will be student presentations for The Mockingbird and a reading featuring student writing responses to the WONDERLANDS exhibit in the Reece Museum.
