About this Event
This training provides an overview of ethical practice in peer support and recovery-oriented roles. Designed for Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) and Certified Recovery Specialists / Certified Family Recovery Specialists (CRS/CFRS), the course focuses on boundaries, confidentiality, self-disclosure, and ethical decision-making.
Participants will strengthen their understanding of professional ethics while staying grounded in core peer values such as mutuality, respect, choice, empowerment, and integrity.
Recertification credit:
- Meets CPS ethics requirements (3 ethics hours)
- Meets CRS/CFRS ethics requirements (6 ethics hours)
