Our second artist interview in our winter ‘oil painting’ term will be with artist Laura Smith. The event is free and everybody is welcome, so please feel free to share this link as widely as you would like.
About Laura Smith
Laura Smith is a painter based in London. She primarily paints still life subjects, with a selection of her work available to view on her website HERE. Laura Smith completed both her BA and MA at the Slade School of Fine Art and undertook the Prince’s Drawing School’s ‘Drawing Year in 2003. As well as being elected to the New England Art club in 2022 she has received the Clare Winsten Memorial Award, The Richard Ford Award and has been shortlisted for the Jerwood Drawing Prize and Threadneedle Prize.
