About Professor Sauermann
is professor of strategy and Team Global Chair for Disruptive Innovation at ESMT Berlin, where he also serves as academic director of the Vali Berlin Entrepreneurship Hub. Winner of the 2025 Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal Best Paper Prize, his research examines human capital in science and innovation, with a particular focus on crowdsourcing and citizen science.
