Hearing screenings are vital in identifying hearing loss in children and preventing problems with communication, learning and development. Middle-ear fluid build up commonly occur in young children as a result of cold, ear infections and nasal congestion due to their narrow and flat auditory structures.
The hearing screening program at ESF Kennedy will be conducted during December 6th to 8th, using Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), an easy and automatic test that can be found in hospitals that allow insight of your child's inner ear and hair cell health.
The last day to register is November 30th 2023.
