Hearing screenings are vital in identifying hearing loss in children and preventing problems with communication, learning and development. Middle-ear fluid build up commonly occur in young children as a result of cold, ear infections and nasal congestion due to their narrow and flat auditory structures.
The hearing screening program at ESF Hillside will be conducted during April 15th and 16th 2026, using Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), an easy and automatic test that can can be found in hospitals that allow insight on your child's inner ear and hair cell health.
The last day to register is Friday, April 10th at 11am.
