About this Event
The Urban Equity Collective, in partnership with the Morgan State University Department of Design and Planning, is hosting a roundtable conversation on equitable development in Baltimore, and we would be honored to have you join us.
As Baltimore experiences renewed investment in parks, infrastructure, and neighborhoods, this is an important moment to ask:
How can development repair past harms and contribute to a stronger, more inclusive, and thriving community?
During the session we will:
- Share a visual story map highlighting the park corridor and emerging opportunities
- Discuss challenges and possibilities related to equitable economic development and small business growth
- Collaborate on ideas for how organizations across the city can work together to ensure these investments benefit long-standing communities
This is intended to be a working conversation with a small group of practitioners whose perspectives can help shape future strategies.
You can learn more about the corridor here:https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/8eb9ee51e4c44e97a5a83e31da106058
Please let us know if you are able to join us. We would value having your voice in the room.
