About this Event
A picnic series created for Latinas in Social Work to come together in community, reconnect with themselves, and pour back into one another.
In a field where we’re constantly holding space for others, this is a space where you get to be held—as a mujer, as a helper, as a whole person.
Join us for our DC gathering on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Washington, DC (exact location shared upon RSVP).
✨ The vibe: soft, intentional, and rooted in connection. Think a dreamy, boho-style picnic with touches of cultura, warmth, and sisterhood.
Dress code (optional): soft boho picnic vibes—neutrals, florals, or whatever makes you feel comfortable 💛
✨ What to expect:
- A beautifully curated picnic setup
- A delicious charcuterie spread, fresh fruit & refreshing drinks
- Meaningful, heart-centered conversations with fellow mujeres in social work
- A space that centers community, cultura, and collective care
Whether you’re a student, intern, or seasoned social worker, you belong here.
This is more than a picnic—it’s about building community, confianza, and sisterhood in a field that can often feel heavy.
💫 Come as you are. Bring your full self.
💫 Leave feeling grounded, seen, and connected.
Spots are limited to keep the space intimate.
