About this Event
The UNAM Europe Permanent Seminar brings together researchers from Europe and Mexico to discuss global challenges from a multidisciplinary perspective.
This session, “Energy Transition: Global Views”, explores the urgent need for a sustainable and just energy transition. Specialists from Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, and Mexico will present current perspectives on renewable energy systems, their regional challenges, and opportunities for international collaboration.
Attendees will gain insights into:
- How renewable energy sources complement each other in different regions
- Lessons learned from European and Mexican strategies
- Technical, political, and social challenges of the transition
- Opportunities for joint research projects between UNAM and European institutions
