This course explores the relationship between the physical body & the subtle body in asana practice by refining the sequencing of postures to highlight a particular energetic effect. You will learn how to create classes that bring a very specific resonance; you can sequence to create a class that is calming & grounding, one that supports more clarity & elevation, one that cleanses, purifies, & balances. We use not only physical postures for this, but also integrate pranayama (breath techniques), drishti (intentional focused gaze), bhavana (spiritual attunement & themes), bandha (internal locks), meditations & more.

Immersion Open to the Public
This weekend intensive is part of Karma Yoga Center’s 300hr YTT and is open to all yoga teachers & dedicated students looking to refine & focus their yoga practice to support where they are and where they are going.
Basic knowledge of asana & subtle body anatomy is required. We will be referencing & reading Tias Little’s book Yoga of the Subtle Body as well as the teachings from Para Yoga’s Rod Stryker to enhance & elevate our knowledge of the body - both physical & energetic.

This Weekend Immersion is part of a larger 300Hr YTT training at Karma Yoga Center.
