2024 has been an exciting time for Endeavor Health Services (formerly known as Mid-Erie Counseling and Treatment Service) and we are happy to announce our Annual Breakfast and Baskets fundraising event. As we enter our 51st year of providing an array of mental health and substance use treatment, education, and support services, we look to grow these invaluable services and meet the demand of our community.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘The Written Word and its Connection to Health and Healing.’ It will be held on September 20th at AcQua Banquet Facility, 2192 Niagara Street in Buffalo from 8:00-10:00 a.m. A breakfast buffet, raffle baskets, silent auction items, a showcase of written word poetry, haikus, and short stories from our staff and clients, and Jillian Hanesworth will be featured throughout the morning.
Proceeds from this year’s event will help fund EAST Haven, a community support program operated by Endeavor based in the Towne Garden Plaza on the east side of Buffalo. EAST (Encourage, Assist, Support, Together) Haven operates a walk-in center for anyone experiencing emotional distress, a clubhouse program where individuals can find support to take that next step on their recovery journey, and community outreach programs where staff meet with individuals at partner agencies to provide whole person health screenings to link people to needed services.
On behalf of all those struggling with mental illness and chemical dependency, and those devoted to provide these individuals with help and hope, thank you for your anticipated support.
