These practical tools and immersive yoga and sound bath experience will help integrate a sense of embodied resilience. Let’s nurture and enhance your well-being as we empower individual and collective resilience.
Times:
Friday: 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
12 Hours, CEUs earned upon completion of workshop, or hours towards 300hr program.
Part 2: Cultivating Embodied Resilience (Oct 4-6)
Empower yourself and your teaching with this weekend long introduction to trauma-informed yoga. This workshop is designed to support yoga teachers on and off the mat! Go from feeling unsure and unclear about trauma-informed practices to feeling equipped and empowered to support students and populations who have experienced trauma. Join us and make a lasting impact on your students' well-being while also supporting yourself in the process.
You will learn the key concepts of trauma-informed practices and how to integrate them into every yoga class regardless of location. Understand the biology of trauma and resilience and integrate the skills of the Community Resiliency Model(CRM) and the fundamentals of Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Trauma Informed Mindfulness. This workshop will ask us to take a reflective pause as we ask ourselves, “What does it mean to create brave and inclusive yoga spaces?” Dive deeper into how to adapt yoga practices for specific populations while welcoming all lived experiences.
**These workshops are for educational and personal growth purposes and Yoga Alliance CEUs will be available. Additional study is required for a certification in the Community Resiliency Model and TCTSY. More information is available at traumaresourceinstitute.com and traumasensitiveyoga.com.
