Employment law series: Spring 2026 update

Howes Percival’s Employment Team is pleased to present a Spring employment law update for CIPD.

We will be reviewing recent and upcoming changes in employment law, which will have practical implications for employers and HR professionals. In particular, we will give you the latest insights into the Employment Rights Act as it continues on its path to becoming law.

Finally, we will take a look at key Tribunal decisions in a case law quiz.

Guest speakers profiles:

Nick Benton is a Partner at Howes Percival and specialises in all aspects of employment law - regularly advising on complex employment tribunal proceedings including whistleblowing, all forms of discrimination and contentious TUPE matters.

Hannah Ball is a Partner at Howes Percival and specialises in all aspects of employment law. Hannah has defended a range of Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal and discrimination. Hannah regularly advises clients on non-contentious matters, such as contracts of employment. In addition, Hannah provides advice on disciplinary and performance issues, as well as assisting employers with grievances.
