About this Event
This employability event brings together speakers from academia, the private sector, and the public/international sector to share insights into a range of career paths related to commercial, corporate, and financial law.
The event is designed for LLM students and Law PGRs currently studying at the University of Glasgow and aims to provide an overview of different professional trajectories rather than focusing on specific job vacancies. Speakers will reflect on their own career journeys after postgraduate study, including key decisions, challenges, and lessons learned.
Each panel will begin with short introductory remarks from the panellists, followed by an informal Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion.
Panels include:
• Academia
• Private Sector
• Public & International Sector
The event will be held in person and will include a lunch break.
Date: 11 May 2026
