Emotional Mapping: Making Sense of Your Emotional PatternsHave you ever noticed that when emotions arise, you tend to react in the same ways over and over again?
Some of us shut down, disconnect, or tell ourselves we’re “fine.”
Others overthink, become emotionally overwhelmed, or feel responsible for everyone else’s feelings.
These are emotional patterns, learned ways of relating to emotions that helped us cope in the past, but can leave us feeling anxious, reactive, disconnected, or exhausted.
Most of us were never taught how to understand emotions in a healthy way.
Instead, we learned to avoid feelings, get stuck in them, or stay hyper-aware of the emotional states of others.
Emotional literacy offers another path.
It helps us recognise what we’re feeling, understand the needs underneath those feelings, and respond with more awareness and self-compassion.
In this workshop, we’ll explore common emotional patterns, what they can look like in everyday life, and how we can begin shifting them over time.
You’ll leave with:
• a clearer understanding of your emotional patterns
• practical tools to help you respond differently to emotions
• greater awareness of feelings, needs, and nervous system responses
• simple ways to build more emotional steadiness and self-empathy
This is a warm, supportive space to better understand yourself, connect more deeply with your emotions, and leave with tools you can actually use.
Plus - your ticket includes a plant-based dinner & dessert! You’ll get to eat good food in good company and have a wholesome evening
