Drawing comparisons to Ben Böhmer, George FitzGerald and Rüfüs Du Sol, his sound lives in the tension between melody and momentum — delicate enough to move you, powerful enough to floor you.
With two decades of musical instinct behind him and five years honing his electronic craft, Euthoric has taken his sets to Radio City Social and Hot Box Live. His 2025 EP Lemuria announced him as a serious force in melodic electronic music — and new single Thurma, out 15th April, arrives alongside a city mural collaboration with Chelmsford art collective Concrete Canvas, bringing the music to the streets in the most literal sense.
GIUSEPPE MORENA
Giuseppe Morena has been part of the UK electronic music scene since the
early ’90s — largely behind the scenes, but consistently influential. He began
producing in 1990 during the acid house era, developing a deep connection to
both the creative and technical sides of music.
A defining early influence was Malcolm Smith (Underworld’s technical lead),
who provided hands-on studio training — from cabling and troubleshooting to
managing high-pressure technical failures. That grounding became central to
his career.
As one half of Self Preservation Society, he produced official remixes for a wide
range of major artists including The Human League, Dave Stewart, Dina Carroll,
Simply Red, Gary Barlow, Robert Owens, Doug Lazy, Eternal, and Alabama 3 —
most notably Sunscreem, a standout collaboration that remains a key highlight
of his remix work. These releases spanned labels such as Perfecto, Sony,
Warner Brothers, and One Little Indian, reflecting a consistent balance between
dance-floor impact and musical depth.
From the early 2000s to the present, he has worked closely with Leeroy
Thornhill (ex-Prodigy) on electro breaks releases, while also managing his DJ
tours and supporting his band Flightcrank. Since 2004, he has maintained an
ongoing collaboration with Darren Emerson (Underworld/Detone), contributing
to live shows and technical/production work across the Detone label.
Over the years, he has provided technical and studio support for artists
including The Prodigy, Underworld, Chris Brown, Ruff Driverz, Slipmat, and
more recently Fish56octagon — building studios, configuring live rigs, and
solving problems in real time. He has long operated as the figure behind the
scenes keeping everything running.
He continues to DJ under his own name, playing across house, tech, and
techno — guided by instinct rather than trends, with a focus on groove, tension,
and dynamics.
His current focus is STARK x GIUSEPPE MORENA, a hardware-driven techno-
house project with Dave Gooday and Simon Granger (Nitzer Ebb), built without
laptops or shortcuts.
