About this Event

Artist Kate Craig will interview Emily Carroll about her new book, A Guest in the House.

When Abby marries a recently widowed dentist, she thinks he is the perfect solution to her life of loneliness. But as she throws herself into her new role as wife and mother, she is literally haunted by the memory of her husband's late first wife.

Following the interview, Carroll will do a live Q&A with the audience and book signing.

Emily Carroll is the writer and artist of numerous short comics, both online and in print, many of which are available to read at her website. Her 2014 book Through the Woods, a collection of original horror comics, won an Eisner Award, Ignatz Award, and the British Fantasy Award. Carroll lives with artist Kate Craig in Stratford, Ontario.
