About this Event
Join exhibiting artist Jounghye Yoo for a special embroidery workshop inspired by Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven, centred on her installation Gilded Veil, which brings together Korean silk embroidery and Indian ajrakh block printing. Participants will embroider onto intricately hand-printed and naturally dyed ajrakh fabric created by master dyer Dr Ismail Khatri, engaging directly with these cross-cultural techniques and taking home a unique textile piece.
Due to the equipment used, this workshop is only suitable for participants aged 12 and over.
