This event, hosted by CT Holistic Nurses, is open to all! The day includes lunch and the opportunity to learn about and experience a variety of holistic wellness approaches across traditions. All of our presenters are experienced holistic practitioners who will provide practical insights on incorporating these tools into personal and professional practice.

Our keynote speaker is Mira Silverman, RN, BA, BS, CLC
Keynote Presentation: "Radical Regeneration: An exploration of the healing powers of the earth, the future of medicine, and the challenges and triumphs of being a nurse-herbalist"
Mira Silverman, RN, BA, BS, CLC is a registered nurse- herbalist with over 20 years of experience in the field of natural and holistic health. She has 10+ years in nursing with experience in maternal-child health, home health, chronic disease education, and care coordination. Presently she is employed with the SASH (Support and Services at Home) program at the St. Elizabeth Apartments for Seniors public housing facility in Providence, Rhode Island. She also maintains a private practice providing nutritional and herbal coaching to individuals with complex chronic conditions and teaches workshops in the community on a range of topics related to herbalism and holistic health. Through all facets of her work Mira strives to connect people with the knowledge and tools to be empowered in their own health and healthcare. She is a passionate believer in the power of plants to support the vitality and resilience of our bodies, our environment and our communities.
Mira holds a BA in anthropology from Bard College and a BS in nursing from the University of Connecticut, and has 20+ years of herbal studies under numerous teachers including the California School of Herbal Studies and Farmacy Herbs. She is a certified Cannabis Health and Wellness Coach, certified lactation counselor, DONA-trained birth doula, and kundalini yoga instructor, and holds numerous holistic certifications including NADA ear acupuncture, biofield tuning and biomagnetic pair therapy. She is also the author and illustrator of an herbal alphabet book for children.
