Rev your engines and get ready to "brake" for a good cause! The Madison Newcomers Club is shifting into high gear with its 16th Annual Touch A Truck event on Sunday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Surf Club in Madison. Bring the whole family for a wheelie fun day exploring big trucks—from fire engines to bulldozers—plus live music and delicious food from local trucks. This is a tire-ific opportunity to learn how these vehicles work while supporting two great causes: the Madison Newcomers Club Scholarship Program for Daniel Hand High School graduates and Madison Youth & Family Services.
Whether you’re behind the wheel or just along for the ride, this event celebrates community and giving back. Dozens of businesses will volunteer their time and vehicles to showcase their trucks and support local youth programs. Enjoy live music, tasty bites, and a great time for all!
A free shuttle bus will run throughout the event and will pick up/drop off passengers at the Madison Commuter Lot, off Exit 61/Rt 79, and run continuously from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Use of this shuttle is highly recommended as parking is limited at the Surf Club.
Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5 per person or $20 per family at the entrance. The first 200 guests or families with a $20 donation will receive a free swag bag (1 per family)! Come for the trucks, stay for the fun and community spirit. For more details, visit: https://www.madisonnewcomersct.com/touch-a-truck.
