About this Event
Dark and mysterious forces descend from Japan to invade your sketchbook and inspire your dark side! This session explores the supernatural through the lens of Yokai: spirits, monsters, and demons from Japanese mythology.
We will focus on expressive line work inspired by Japanese woodblock prints, using the figure as a base to jump into the wonderful world of Japanese mythology.
If you enjoy stories of things that go bump in the night, and would like to draw in a welcoming and safe space, this is just the event for you!

About :
Our popular life drawing sessions have different themes every month.
We create a welcoming and warm environment for all backgrounds, demographics, and skill levels at this creative social life drawing event to meet, drink, draw, and create! We do not instruct; instead, we invite participants to share. We believe that art connects people, and sharings improve creativity!
We host weekly themed untutored gatherings at a variety of one-of-a-kind places in London. You may have also heard of us because of the work we have done with the National Gallery, Open House Festival London, SOHO HOUSE, Urbanism/Architecture Bi-City Biennale (UABB), The European Biennial of Contemporary Art and more.
