About this Event

'Out - of - Proportion'

As the New Year begins, this session invites you to reset your creative instincts—letting go of old rules, refreshing your practice, and turning creative resolutions into action. This session explores scale as a perceptual and emotional tool, rather than a rule of anatomy.

This session invites you to step outside realism and distort proportion as an act of expression. Bodies are not measured here! they are felt. Through exaggeration, isolation, and fragmentation, silhouettes gain emotional weight and conceptual meaning.

Scale becomes unstable. A hand may outweigh a torso. A foot may feel monumental.Influenced by caricature, dynamic illustration, and surrealist and expressionist practices, this exercise encourages you to abandon correct proportion and discover your own visual language.

The event takes place at Arcus Sounds, where the space itself becomes part of the experience. Alongside the model, musical instruments will be used as props, extending the theme of scale while responding to the atmosphere and magnificence of the venue.
