This workshop is for Ely-area business owners, nonprofit leaders, and engaged community members who want to don their proverbial work boots (you are also welcome to show up wearing your work boots) and collaborate in service of improving Ely's bottom line.Event Details:

The $20 registration fee covers the cost of lunch and an afternoon snack. The registration link will be added no later than Friday, October 3.
The workshop program includes facilitated networking, as well as a keynote address by rural sociologist Ben WInchester. Ben is trained as a Rural Sociologist and works as a Senior Research Fellow for the University of Minnesota Extension, Center for Community Vitality. He conducts applied research on economic, social, and demographic topics surrounding a theme of “rewriting the rural narrative” that are vital to rural America.
The workshop will also include breakout sessions on business succession planning, community leadership development, and community asset management.
