About a year ago this time, my daughter Ella trotted downstairs from her room announcing she had just written a tune. The song was called “Piper” and we were pleased to include it on our set list at The St. John Family Hour's next gig. Ella later played the song at a showcase at the Metro and wrote several other songs as well. The result of this was that we all went into the studio to help out on her first EP which she will proudly be releasing at this particular shindig at Borelli’s Pizza, the place where she got her start singing some years ago. Ella will be doing a set of her tunes followed by more stuff from hopefully one of your favorite dad/daughter trios. If you couldn’t make it to Elton John’s debut at the Troubadour, you still can make it to Borelli’s Pizza.
