About this Event

The programs will introduce students to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math - Money-Management, Electronic-Etiquette (STEAM-ME). IT Computer Wiz Kids (WIZKIDS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization focused on providing technology education and job training through our STEAM-ME program.

In the Elementary School STEAM-ME Enrichment section, students will gain practical experience, confidence, and a sense of responsibility for their own growth, while developing teamwork, decision-making, and goal-setting skills, along with a deeper sense of belonging, motivation, and connection to their community and future career pathways. We strive to create a fun and exciting learning environment that equips individuals with the skills necessary for success in both personal and professional endeavors. Students will develop critical thinking skills as they are introduced to coding, programming, gaming computers, cybersecurity, networking, financial literacy, money management, investing, and trading.

In addition to the Elementary School STEAM-ME Enrichment Program (Ages 6-11), IT Computer Wiz Kids (WizKids) is also offering a 16-week STEAM-ME based program for teens (Ages 13-18) that combines technical training with hands-on experience. Students complete four immersive sessions in A+ certification prep, coding/game development, cybersecurity/networking, and financial literacy with digital etiquette.
Through the Wiz Kids Help Desk Initiative, participants gain real-world internship experience while providing tech support to their communities. Following the programโ€™s โ€œYou Build It, You Keep Itโ€ model, students also build and take home their own computer.
The program promotes workforce readiness, digital skills, and community impact while helping create pathways to economic opportunity and greater diversity in tech.
