Colombia in the house on November 8 with Dorance Lorza and his Sexteto Cafe and their live ‘Salsa con Vibes’ + DJ Johnny G + #chocomais**
Led by Colombian composer, multi-instrumentalist and vibraphone virtuoso Dorancé Lorza, Sexteto Cafe have been one of the finest bands in the vibrant and exciting London salsa scene since they formed in 1996. Pioneering the worldwide “salsa con vibes” revival of the late 1990s, they were one of the first bands in Europe to favour the small combo salsa sound of 1960s/1970s bands like Joe Cuba Sextet/New Swing Sextet/Pete Terrace Combo rather than the more common big brass-heavy salsa orchestras of the day.

Sexteto Cafe will make sure that November's session keeps the Salsa flag flying high and proud!

Our Colombian Salsa teacher, Yamile, gets the hips moving with her all-comers Salsa Dance Class from 7.30, followed by the club night.

The DJs (on rotation) are Johnny G, Carey Lyseight and Gerry Lyseight
