Tangueras y tangueros y everyone else who wants to learn to dance tango,A new concept is born: El Quinto (the 5th, on the 5th Sunday) is an event to attract new people into the world of Argentine tango.
Based on the idea that non-tango people come taste tango by dancing with tangueras y tangueros to let them feel what it means to dance on the most beautiful music written for close embrace partner dances. Now is the time and the opportunity to bring in your friends to learn to dance tango!
In the afternoon El Quinto is a full-blown práctica, a tango bootcamp, where senior, junior and totally new tango dancers mix up to transfer knowledge and skills. As it was in the Golden Age of tango. With free mini-classes in-between.
Pianist Sebastian Rodriguez will do a mini-class on tango music and play for us in the early evening to make us dance.
In the evening El Quinto is a regular milonga although with an abundant snack buffet incl. pizza slices. Bring your own (non-)alcoholic drinks.
