It’s that time of year again where we have our annual One-Day 8 Precepts Summer retreat. Retreats are rare and wonderful opportunities to dedicate this time to our spiritual growth and practice. The 8 Precepts retreat serves as an opportunity to dedicate the day to living life like a monk or nun. The retreat follows the major daily practices, study sessions, chore work, and other activities of the monastics.This year’s retreat theme is Developing Bodhicitta.

1:45pm-2:15pm: Chanting (Lotus Sutra)
2:15pm-2:45pm: Sitting Meditation
