About this Event
Get ready for some delicious, fun-filled Egg Pasta Making Masterclasses this Spring! 👨🍳👩🍳
During the 1.5 hours class, you’ll learn:
- How to make the perfect egg pasta dough by hand (to impress your friends/family/next date)
- What’s behind a good quality Egg pasta: how to choose the best ingredients
- The difference between Semolina and 00 Flour
- How to roll the dough (using a pasta machine)
- How to make 3 traditional pasta shapes: Tagliatelle, Farfalle and Sopressini.
- The story behind these three traditional shapes
- How to pair pasta shapes with the right sauces (yes, pasta shapes and sauces are never paired randomly!)
- How to reuse pasta scraps to create more pasta shapes.
After the Masterclass, you'll be able to:
- enjoy a bowl of pasta of your choice from our menu (included in the ticket) 🍝
- take your pasta-creations home in a takeaway container, to prepare them with your favourite sauce and prove your new pasta skills to your foodie friends :)
Event details:
- Egg pasta classes will be run on Sunday, 19th May (12:30pm and 2:30pm) and on Tuesday, 21st May (at 6pm and 8pm); please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before the Masterclass starts.
- All the ingredients and equipment will be provided (and the Italian vibes are on us, too!)
- Location: Emilia’s Canary Wharf, 12 George Street, Wood Wharf, E14 9QG
- Price: £50 pp - one alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink per person included, as well as a bowl of pasta of your choice 🍝🍹
