Educate, Navigate, Negotiate: Strengthen your Skills in Working with Natural Partners (virtual workshop)

In 2021, KDD Philanthropy introduced “educate, navigate, negotiate” as a tool to strengthen how advancement staff work with deans, physicians, CEOs, coaches and other natural partners to build internal relationships that support our work in philanthropy.

This virtual workshop will explore how the “educate, navigate, negotiate” framework supports being a stronger fundraising partner, unit lead or manager. We will specifically discuss when and how to use these approaches and provide examples and scenarios — and specific language examples to use in crucial conversations. If you work with faculty, coaches, physicians, staff or academic/healthcare/non-profit leaders, this workshop is sure to provide new ideas, energy and specific tools to better work together.

Our time together will include breakout exercises and discussions to sharpen skills individually or with members of your team.

Recommended for alumni engagement, donor relations, frontline and other staff who work closely with organizational partners.

This workshop is a LIVE event (no recordings). All curriculum is eligible for CFRE credit.
