About this Event
Edit sessions are an affordable way to give and receive MFA-style feedback on a work you'd like to refine, all in a queer and supportive setting!
If you are a writer who would like to get feedback on a work, this is for you!
How does it work?
You and other ticket-holders form a feedback group.
Each person will submit their work ahead of time.
The facilitator will then send everyone's submissions out to the group, after which they will make notes on your piece and then discuss further in person.
You do the same for everyone else’s work.
You leave having learned more about how others are writing, and with feedback to develop your own style.
After buying a ticket, here's what you need to do:
- Submit a piece no longer than 1000 words by August 10th
- Use this form to submit
- On August 11th, a collection of everyone‘s pieces will be sent to the group.
- Arrive at the editing session to give and receive feedback.
This session is hosted by writer F. Zeeshan Choudhury.
