About this Event
Join us this August as we run two British Sign Language tours delivered by RZSS Trustee John Denerley, written and supported by our Discovery and Learning Team, as part of the Deaf Festival.
Discover the heart and purpose of zoos with stories about some of their most popular animals. From breeding programs to exciting conservation and research projects, you will learn how zoos are saving species from the brink of extinction and how we can all make a difference.
The tours will be running across the following dates:
- 12 August
- 14 August
Tours will last approximately 60-90 minutes, with the meeting point at the zoo members gate at the top of the car park at 4:30.
This tour is delivered exclusively in BSL and is free to join, but spaces must be reserved due to limited capacity.
Please note, this tour is an add-on to your zoo visit. If you do not have valid RZSS membership, you must purchase admission tickets to enter Edinburgh Zoo in advance online.
