Edinburgh Climate Festival 2026 - Sign Making Workshop (Part 2)

Building on the first session, we’ll develop and complete our designs—working together as a creative community and reflecting the festival’s Intertwined theme of shared effort and collective action.

Combining art and craft, you’ll bring your signage to life while contributing to a more connected festival experience.

In this session, you’ll learn to:

• Refine and cut your stencil lettering
• Develop and strengthen your designs
• Paint and finish your signage boards
• Build practical skills in upcycling discarded boards

All work created will be used at the festival, making your contribution part of a larger shared experience.

Additional information:

• You are encouraged to attend both workshops (Part 1 and Part 2), where possible, to fully develop your work
• Please get in touch if you have any questions or need support to attend—for example, if you need to arrive late or leave early

• Light refreshments will be provided
• Please do let us know if you have any access or dietary requirements prior to the event
• To help remove financial barriers to attending our event, a limited number of complimentary Lothian bus day tickets for use after the event are available upon request
