Led by Edible Magazine San Luis Obispo writer and cooking instructor Zoe Elliot Shaw, young cooks (8 years or older) will prepare a Mediterranean feast of sourdough bread and homemade hummus, celebrate local vegetable harvest by making crudite and cucumber roll ups featuring ingredients from Babe Farms, and sample Zoe’s falafel! Guests will also enjoy a sweet send off. This cooking class is a part of the Edible Magazine Summer House. About the Edible Magazine Summer House:
The Summer House is a celebration of all things culinary, as we bring the pages of the magazine to life at the beautiful La Lomita Ranch. This curated multi-day gathering of experiences is an opportunity to try one-time-only food collaborations; cooking classes; farm shares; dinner parties; media meet-and-greets with Edible magazine staff; chef’s tables; and more, enjoying it all- together.
