Welcome to a Cocoon and Holistique Events collaboration

Come experience ultimate freedom on the dance floor and meet like-minded people on the path of self awareness.

You’re warmly invited to an Ecstatic Dance journey held in the beautiful space of St Philip’s Church — a chance to move, breathe, and connect through music and free-form dance.

Ecstatic Dance is a sober, intentional movement practice where we dance without choreography, conversation, or judgment. The space is held as a container for self-expression, embodiment, and community.

• A welcoming opening and gentle arrival into the space
• A DJ-led music journey, moving from slow and spacious into energetic rhythms and back to stillness
• Time to integrate and ground before closing

You are free to dance wildly, softly, playfully, meditatively—or simply rest and listen.

To create a safe and respectful container, we ask everyone to follow these shared agreements:

• No talking on the dance floor
• No drugs or alcohol
• Barefoot or socks only
• Respect personal space, boundaries, and consent

• Comfortable clothes you can move in
• A reusable water bottle
• An open heart

All bodies and all levels of dance experience are welcome. You don’t need to “know how to dance”—just come as you are.

About the organisers:

Cocoon is lovingly co-founded by Morpho and Olivia, who share a love of dance, sacred spaces, transformation and creating community. We believe in the power of music and dance to reconnect us to ourselves, to each other, and to something greater.

Our vision is to create a sacred space where you can be your most authentic self, to dance however you want, to explore what’s alive within you, to feel deeply, and to let go of what no longer serves. Through this embodied journey, letting the music be your guide, transformation naturally unfolds.

HolistiqueUK is founded by Yvonne, an acupuncturist and sound healer with a deep passion for holistic wellbeing. She blends traditional healing practices with modern approaches to support physical, emotional, and energetic balance.

Thoughtfully curated Holistique events and retreats bring together conscious individuals who are committed to self-awareness, personal growth, and mindful living. From immersive sound journeys to collaborative workshops and community gatherings, each offering is crafted to nurture connection — both within oneself and with others.

About your DJ:

Morpho is a transformational DJ who weaves ethereal soundscapes and primal rhythms to guide dancers on a journey of self-discovery and liberation. Specializing in ecstatic dance, Morpho crafts immersive sets that blend organic world beats, deep tribal grooves, and soulful melodies, creating a space where movement becomes meditation.

Info: Please arrive by 19:30 at the latest when the doors will close. This is so we can all be together for the opening circle and create a held container.

Info: We will have an opening circle to connect the group and go through the guidelines for the dance. Then there will be a cacao ceremony leading into some guided exercises to bring us into our body and move into the dance.

Info: The dance will be unguided, a free-flow dance. Let the music be your guide.

Info: We'll close the dance with an opportunity to share your experience for those who would like to.
