It's like dancing however you feel, without worrying about how it looks! Simply move freely, let the music move you without a choreography and without judgment!

To make it even more possible to move around on the dance floor we're setting a limit of 35 participants for the space. If you want to make sure you have a spot, then pay upfront! Tickets are transferrable to friends, or you can use your ticket at the next ED! Just inform Gusse of the transfer in case you are unable to make it to the dance.

Embark on a sound journey through a hand-picked awesome songs by DJ Velvet Medusa! Every Ecstatic Dance set is different, the music varies in style and tempo, including a multitude of genres with lower tempos like Ambient and Downtempo and all the way up to Psytrance, with the various flavours of Techno and Latin beats to heat up the dance floor!
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐉
During 2025 DJ Velvet Medusa (Gus/Gusse, he/him) organised two Ecstatic Dances events, facilitated and played at Marsupotamia as well as at a November retreat, ha has roots playing Melodic Techno and Progressive House at invite-only parties and raves, during Decompression 2025 he also had the privilege of playing the opening set at KisKis!

During the dance we express ourselves without words, this makes it easier to be present in your body and the music.

We dance sober and leave our phones behind, and come as you are.
