Music can be the fluid base for self expression. Just like water, it can carry us to different places. In an Ecstatic Dance flow, different layers and aspects of life are visited through the hi's and low's that the musical journey provides. As an ED DJ, my aim is to create a musical journey that enables you to embody and dance with different parts of yourself, ultimately giving space to your most authentic self expression - from slow movement to absolute booty shaking madness!
My journey with diving deeper into the proces of authentic self expression started a few years ago. And in that I've experienced the power of music.
Meanwhile, I've had the privilege of organizing Ecstatic Dance events in Rotterdam with my organization, Bezweefd, for nearly three years now. For the past year and a half, I've also been sharing the power of music through my DJ sets, every time getting more inspired by the dancers and the magical co-creation on the dancefloor.
