$Ecological Restoration Work Party \u2013 Wingra Woods$

Volunteer for habitat restoration activities in prairies, savannas, and woodlands. Tools and training provided. Groups welcome with advance notice. Meet at Wingra Springs parking lot, at top of hill on Arboretum Dr., northeast of the Visitor Center. (No restroom facilities at site.) Work parties are canceled if it is storming, if the temperature is below 10°F, or if the ground is too muddy or snow-covered. To check if the work party is canceled due to the weather, call (608) 263-7327 after 8:15 a.m. on Saturday for a message.
