Our community socials bring like-minded people together to hold conversations and learn about sustainability and the environment.

This month's guest speaker is Katherine Tellock with Green Era Chicgao. Tellock is the Business Development Manager for Green Era Chicago, a food waste recycling facility located on Chicago's South Side. She will be talking about how Green Era is creating a circular economy using anaerobic digestion to divert food waste from landfills, create renewable energy to heat Chicago homes, produce nutrient-rich compost for local food production, and provide new green jobs for local residents.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided and feel free to also bring your own. We hope you can join us!
