About your instructor: Gina Taylor is highly regarded as a skilled weaver and beloved crafts instructor. She takes part in craft exhibits and competitions as well as organizing these events in Honolulu.
What You'll Learn
Introduction to Eco Dyeing: Understand the principles of eco dyeing and the variety of plants that can be used for natural pigment extraction.
Materials Provided: Gina will supply all necessary materials, including an array of plant matter and the cloth for your print.
Step-by-Step Process: Learn the method of arranging and rolling the plant materials with the fabric, preparing them for dyeing.
Steaming Technique: Discover the steaming process that imprints the natural dyes onto the fabric, resulting in stunning, one-of-a-kind patterns.
