Tape Loop Orchestra is the recording alias of Manchester based artist Andrew Hargreaves, known for creating experimental ambient music that investigates the themes of time, vanishing mediators, and the disembodied voice. Inspired by the tactile nature of tape manipulation and its ability to evoke a sense of impermanence, Tape Loop Orchestra aims to create music that is as much about what is absent as what is present.
