Christmas Sewing Workshop for Adults
Get into the holiday spirit with this fun and creative sewing workshop designed especially for kids and adults! Perfect for beginners, you will learn the basics of sewing and create your own unique Christmas decorations.
Workshop Details:
Age Requirement: 18+
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly, no prior sewing experience required
Group Size: Limited to 4 adults per group to ensure individualized attention. There will be a total of 3 groups and 3 teachers
Duration: 2.5 Hours
Location: Station Hall, Railton Rd, London SE24 0JW
What You Will Make:
A large Christmas stocking
What You Will Learn:
Machine Basics: How to thread and operate a sewing machine
Basic Techniques: Straight stitching practice
Fabric Fundamentals: Understanding grain lines, seam allowances, pinning, and marking fabric
Decorative Skills: Adding special details to personalize their Christmas decorations
Finishing Touches: Techniques for handling raw seams
What's Provided:
Everything needed for the project is included! Each person will have access to:
Their individual sewing machine
Left and right-handed scissors
Tape measures, pins, sewing clips, and chalk
A selection of Christmas-themed and other fabrics
Get ready for a festive, hands-on experience that sparks creativity and holiday cheer!
