Charlie Garcia, known as “Mr. Candela”, is a world-class dancer, choreographer, and instructor with a deep passion for mambo and Latin dance . From co-founding Candela Fridays with Alex el Maestro to performing alongside legends like Franklin Diaz and Latin Soul Dancers by Adolfo Indacochea, Charlie has made his mark on the global dance scene 🌎. As a principal choreographer for Shine, the Movie 🎬 and leader of Somos Candela Company, he continues to innovate, blending traditional mambo with contemporary footwork 🎶. Catch him at Échale Salsita Austin on March 8th, where he’ll be teaching a 90 minute workshop and social dancing with you all night! 🕺
